The Department of education required every school to put up a

productive and successful vegetable garden under the Gulayan sa Paaralan
Program. This program is very helpful to address the problem regarding
malnutrition among the learners.

One of the activities of Clean and Green Program of New Bern

Elementary School is to prepare the Gulayan sa Paaralan Area of the School.
To prepare the Gulayan sa Paaralan Area, we plan to build fences. We came
up with this activity because some of our plants are eaten by animals.
Through the cooperation of teachers, parents, and other stakeholders
Gulayan sa Paaralan fences is successfully built and visible in the Gulayan sa
Paaralan area. Gulayan sa Paaralan Program of New Bern Elementary
School is now ready.

Learners and parents, teachers and other stakeholder’s cooperation

and unity was performed.
