Note:
o The PNGUOT SRS held a total of seven distinct events throughout the semester. Since these
events serve as the foundation for the expenses, the expenditure portion of the statement below
has been grouped in accordance with them.
o 2023 Events Budget was K44,000.00, It was allocated as 40% for Semester 1 and 60% for
Semester 2. – Semester 1 – 40% of K44,000.00 = K17600.00
- - Semester 2 – 60% of K44,000.00 = K26,400.00

All the unspent funds were decided to be brought forward to
Semester 2.
F. OTHER COMMENTS.
a). Funds worth of K1800.00 was allocated to IRC & SP Brewery
Workshop and K850 for World International Property Day, however these
events were not being hosted. But, they were replaced by other two
important events which were not being allocated funds. These two events
are;
1. Enhancement Centre Leadership Seminar – K850. (Event 5 – Under
section B)
2. Student Leaders Open Dialogue – K900. (Event 2 – Under section B)
3. A remaining balance of K900 was used to cover unplanned
miscellaneous expenses of all the seven events above throughout the
semester.

b). FUNDS UNSPENT (CURRENT BALANCE) 2,240.00


This amount is the remaining balance of the funds allocated for the first
semester after every expenses.
This amount is the total of unspent amount for the first semester plus the 28,640.00
fund allocated for second semester. (K2,240.00 + K26,400.00)
c). As stated under Section E, all these unspent (remaining) funds are to be carried
forward to semester 2.
