Write your observations on the teacher’s classroom performance on the space provided. Use additional sheets whenever
necessary.

STAR OBSERVATION
S - Activity phase, class is divided into 4 groups.
T - Learners were tasked to join each group.
Learners were task to put water in a piece of paper.
A – Teacher provides water, students do the task.
One student placed the wet paper on the window, leaving it for 5 mins.
R – Learners observed after 5 mins that the paper is quite dry.

S – In analysis phase, teacher asked questions to the learners.


T – Learners are encouraged to answer questions and explain.
A – One learner tries to give her answer in vernacular language, no other learner gives an answer.
R – Learners are hesitant to raise answers.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS:

 Class started with a prayer followed by checking of attendance.


 The teacher conducted a review of the previous lesson thru a video recap.
 Learning material (TV) is not clearly seen at the back.
 Gender sensitivity is observed during the grouping.
 Grouping activity was not quite in order, some dogs were also roaming inside.
 Teacher presents series of video clips.
 Reading opportunity is observed.
 Text and color in the media presentation are inappropriate for distance reading.
 Teacher-discussion method is observed.
 The order of lesson presentation is not followed well.
 Teacher encourages learners to explain, learners were just silent and hesitant.
 Teacher praises learners’ responses.
 CML is 60%
 Assignment is given after the discussion.
