2.3 Output Signal Terminal Connection
2.3.1 Current Output
Instruction:
a) Analog output signal connection:4~20mA,Max load resistance:500Ω
b) Pulse Output Connection: Frequency: 0~5kHz,V value:24V, Load current: 50mA
Note1: When connect output signal wire, please note the function of insertion cable. (eg.Electricity
Frequency or Communication).Please definitely distinguish the output type (eg. Active output or Passive
output)
Note2: When connection the wire,please never connect the power to the output terminal.Or else it may
permanent damage the converter!

BASIC SETUP (BAS)
Options: 1 2 3
PV Decimal
Default = 1
Options: 1 2 3
Total Decimal
Default = 1
Options: No Yes
Noise Limit Default = YES
When there’s big flow fluctuation, can set to “YES” to suppression.
13
4.4 (SYS) Setting
SYSTEM SETUP (SYS)
14
Options: Active L Active H
Default = Active L
Level type of “pulse width” set value in one pulse output period.
Pulse Level For example,pulse level=active L,pulse width=1ms
Pulse frequency=100Hz,
Then at this time pulse period =10ms,include
High level time =9ms,low level time =1ms
Selection: 7 8
RS485 Data Bit Default = 8
Under RTU protocol,can not choose 7 bit.

Clear Total Default = No
Clear forward and reverse total flow
Options: No Yes
Default = No
Load Settings
If choose YES, then restore factory settings;
All the parameters will be back to the factory settings.
15
4.5 TRIM
TRIM
Options: No Yes
3.1 Default = No
Zero Trim Make sure pipe is full and liquid is in static condition, then use this
Function To make flow meter do zero trim automatically.
Options: No Yes
Default = No
3.2.1
Make sure pipe is empty, then use this
Empty Trim
function,flow meter will record pipe character
value in empty pipe condition.
Options: No Yes
Default = No
3.2.2
Make sure pipe is full, then use this function,
Full Trim
flow meter will record pipe character value in full
pipe condition.
16
Floating number: 21.5– 19.5
Default = 20.0
4.6 CHK
Use this function can check whether the excitation forward/reverse drive current is
consistent.
17
5. Self-diagnosis Information and Fault Handling
Electromagnetic flowmeter converter have self-diagnosis function. It can provide correct alarm information by itself for most
general fault except power supply and hardware circuit fault. Fault Information will display in the bottom right of the LCD
screen.
5.1.4 Inaccuracy
a) Check whether the liquid is full of the measuring tube
b) Check whether the signal line connection are normal
c) Check whether the sensor coefficient,zero point is normal or Calibration setting is normal.
6. Detail Setup
Noted: Detail setup is not show in normal measurement mode. Do not suggest to check and change by
end user without professional instruction.
18
2. Press the second key ,then press to choose YES to enter DETAIL SETUP
Interface.
After “Save Settings”,long press for more than 5 seconds to return to the normal measure
Interface as below:
19
Detail Setup
Floating number:
max = flow at 15m/s velocity
min = flow at 0.2m/s velocity
Q=(velocity*D*D)/353.67765
For example size=100mm,then:
Qmax (m3/h)
max = 424.115 m3/h min = 5.655 m3/h
Default = 100.0
Qmax means when instant flow rate reach Qmax, analog output is 20mA;
Frequency output is the setting value set in “ Frequency Upper Hz ” .
If change this parameter, analog output and frequency output will be affected.
20
Floating number: 15.0 –0.0
5.10.6
Speed_2 m/s Default = 0.2
This set value should > set value in Speed_1m/s
21
Floating number: 15.0 –0.0
5.10.24
Speed_11 m/s Default = 1.1
This set value should > set value in Speed_10m/s
Options: No Yes
Default = No
Save Settings If choose “YES”, then will record factory settings, all the parameters will be
recorded. If the parameter in converter been damaged, then can use this
parameter to record factory settings.
Options: No Yes
Default = No
If choose yes, some menu which is under password protect will need to
Password Protect
Input password, then can enter.
After set “Yes”, Menu which need password to enter, pls check appendix
information.
TOTAL
Options: No Yes
Default = No
Clear Total
Clear forward and reverse total flow
In order to let you can correct measuring, please be pay attention to the following requirements when
22
choosing the line position.
2.1 The sensor not only installed in the straight pipe, but also can be installation the in level or tilted
pipe,but the required of the center of two electrode attachment on the horizontal state
2.2 the medium in the installation position should be full pipe flow, avoid not full pipe and gas attached to
the electrode.
2.3 For liquid-solid two-phase flow,it better choose the perpendicular installation,it make the liner
2.4 when the flow meter installation position with not full medium, it can raise the end pipeline of the
flowmeter, and make its full tube, forbidden in peak and outlet pipe installation flowmeter
2.5 Modify piping installation method: when the medium velocity out of requires,it should choose a small
caliber flow meter, and should use different caliber taper pipe or modify the sections of pipe, make its same
caliber with sensor, but before and after straight pipe section at least requirement the before straight pipe
section ≥10 DN, after straight pipe section≥5 DN (DN for pipe diameter)
23
2.6 Before and after straight pipe section for the flowmeter ,before pipe section ≥10 DN, after pipe
section≥5 DN
Right Suspending
Install exhaust valve at the downstreat of flow meter when drop is more than 5m
24
Pipe must be full of Medium
