2. Refer to the beginning pages of the lesson in the book. 

3. Use a strategy ​(draw a picture, make a model, extract numbers from word problems). 

4. Ask a member in your group to help explain the concept. 

5. If nobody in the group can help you, raise your hand to get a teacher's’ attention.
