2866475 - EWM related correction can only

be done by SAP

Symptom
An SAP case is raised regarding an EWM database inconsistency, which was corrected manually on database
level or with an internal report. In customer side it is needed to know the troubleshooting and the exact
corrections steps.

Environment
SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SCM-EWM)

Cause
Most of the inconsistencies can only be corrected by SAP, either by using an internal correction report, or by
changing entries in database tables directly through transaction SE16. We understand you would be interested
in the steps we have done, but we cannot share the correction details with you, it is a decision SAP has made
for a reason. In case somebody has not enough experience in this kind of corrections, that person can cause
accidentally serious problems or further inconsistencies.

In case you know the exact way how the reported inconsistency can be reproduced, raise an SAP case for
Root Cause Analysis, as we always look for preventing these issues from happening.

Resolution
However some of the internal steps and reports are not (yet) released for customers, there are several other
ones, which are already available.

In area Delivery Processing (SCM-EWM-DLP*):

Close unfinished deliveries with transaction /SCWM/CHM_LOG in order to let them archived
