Course Description This course provides students with the knowledge and skills of how words are formed
from its smallest units, including morphemes, inflectional and derivational paradigms,
word formation, and phonological representation (morphology); and how sentences are
constructed from words, including phrases, clauses, and sentences with transformation
(syntax).
