Reflective Essay
Everyone has at least thought of what they wanted, or plan to achieve in the future. People have
different interests in life and should consider this in choosing a career, because the most
important thing to remember is that you should find a job that you will love to do.
Being an accounting student is quite hard for me since back in my senior high years i graduated
from a strand that doesn't align to the program. but being an accounting student taught me many
things just like i must be willing to learn new topics, work with software, use basic math every
day, be a problem solver, communicate well with people and i realized that i should focus more
on my analytical skills. It's great to be able to learn a practical skill that i can actually put to use.
it meant accounting for and gathering financial information for the board of directors of a
nonprofit organization.
I value the advice my parents gave me- follow your heart and you will succeed. I am going to do
what I love and will put my heart and effort into it and hopefully, I will realize my dreams of
becoming an accountant someday. In conclusion, planning on what I will be doing in the near
future will help me achieve my goal and become successful at life.
Thick or Thin
While answering I have learned how accounting is very important to us in our daily lives and
how it can help businesses. Accounting plays a vital role in facilitating all forms of economic
activity in the private, public and nonprofit sectors as it gives us information to make economic
decisions. It also said to be the art of communicating in terms of financial aspects in the business
world. It communicates in the form of financial statements that shows the income, assets,
expenses, liabilities and capital of a certain business. But despite all these, accounting is an often
misunderstood profession.
