ADJUSTING DISPLAY RESOLUTION
STEPS TO ADJUST DISPLAY RESOLUTION IN
UBUNTU
1. Navigate to the “Settings” menu and then go to
the “Displays” section.
2. Look for the option display resolution or screen
resolution and change resolution of the screen
accordingly.
3. Click on the apply button after verifying that
your graphics card and monitor are compatible
with the selected display resolution.
4. If you desire to maintain the new resolution,
click on “Keep Changes” within the given time
limit; otherwise, the system will automatically
revert back to the previous resolution.
WORKING WITH TERMINAL
HOW TO CUSTOMIZE THE TERMINAL IN
UBUNTU
All the customization options can be accessed
through the “profile preferences” entry that sits in
the terminals “edit” menu.
In the General tab, which is active by default,
there are options to change the initial terminal
size.

One can change the shape of the cursor (which is


set to Block by default), as well as tweak the text
appearance, including the font used in your
terminal.
