The movie starts with Mr. Haskin winning with his girls basketball team, after a while he is

school's team they decide to recruit new members for the new team where he finds his first
player Bobby who was planning to retire after that game until the coach promises him that he
will not leave him on the bench to join the team. After a while he sends his assistant to recruit
other players even he goes to look for good players in other states realizing that black boys are
good at playing naturally, on his second try he meets Harry whose mother lets the coach take
him to Texas, as he continues recruiting he finds several diamonds in the rough, even his
assistant helps him even though he ends up without his belongings after a while he manages to
complete his team with the players he considers adequate, Of course between the original
team and the new ones they start a fight but after a while they manage to get along with a
hellish training by Mr. Haskin and a few punishments for going out without permission to drink
and a few frictions for the training because according to them that had no style even brought
Harry's mother when he lowered his grades and his mother accompanied him to his classes so
he managed to increase his average before the next game, Even one of the players was almost

members of their team and after an awkward start they all end up enjoying the party and
continue their winning streak until Shed receives an episode of discrimination by gentlemen of
a cafeteria just for being black realizing that the more they advanced the more they seemed to
hate them just for being black in the middle of the season breaks the coach learns that Keller
has a heart disease even so to continue playing he reduces the number of games to keep his
heart intact. In the middle of the games several of the boys tell the episodes of racism that
they all suffered then the coach and the others take care of them when they sleep so that
nothing happens but because of that they lose a game due to the pressure of the people who
boo them when at the end of the game they end up fighting, but they recompose themselves
and continue winning but because of their team of black boys everyone ridicules them until
they face a first team where one night before they are summoned by the coach giving the
lineup for the final game, personal opinion in this part I wanted to cry nice movie, continuing
the game is so close with fouls by both teams and you feel the tension in this part almost my
heart goes out when I thought they were not going to win but the 'miners' win the national
championship and the coach is overwhelmed with happiness and all those who helped and
supported them return to Texas with the trophy and receive them at the airport giving them
cheers for winning (I rewatched the movie and cried at the end with pleasure what a nice
movie).
