1 OBJECTIVES

Upon completion this practical test, students should be able to:

a. Construct the IP address to workstation in the LAN connection.

b. Examine end to end connection connectivity, to find IP addresses and

MAC addresses using suitable command.

2 Question :

BUILDING A TOPOLOGY CLASS A NETWORK

Question 1: Set up the network topology.

a. Build the network using Packet Tracer six (9) PCs,1 printer,1 scanner, two
(3) switch and one (1) router. Build the network using Packet Tracer.

b. Use the suitable cables to connect all network devices.

Question 2: Configure the all host name and all IP address on the devices.

Question 3: Verify the connection

a. Test connection:

i. PC1 to PC4
ii. PC3 to Printer

b. Use the suitable command, show the result and write IP and MAC addresses
for PC you are using.
