Introduction

RCi Ralph Coleman International Warrington is one of the top rated jobs in Warrington in
the Business Services section of Nicelocal . The organization can be found at the following
address: United Kingdom, Warrington WA1 4RS, Woolston, Unit 14 Kingsland Grange.
The role of a recruitment consultant is primarily to professionally place employees in the
right positions, to win some new business and to ensure a good long-term relationship with
clients and existing candidates. But with all these things the approach taken by a
recruitment consultant to do these things can vary significantly.
A recruitment consultant is usually the intermediary between an organization that wants to
recruit (client) and people looking for career advancement or a temporary job (candidate).
It is primarily seen as a sales role, having some beneficial rewards with some very excellent
results.
Recruitment consultants or recruitment agencies come in all shapes and sizes, from small
local businesses to large national or even international companies.
Many consultancies are specific to the industry or even subdivided into some sections
specific to certain industries, so that consultants will recruit some similar positions for a
different number of clients.
It is very common for a recruitment consultant to be in a certain industry or even type of
business, managing to recruit specialized personnel in the necessary organizations and
spaces. For example, you can specialize in the financial sector and work mostly with financial
organisations, placing candidates in roles such as accounting or financial analysis.
Alternatively, you can specialize in marketing and work primarily with digital marketing
agencies, recruiting for roles such as CRM manager and SEO copywriter.

Day 1

On the first day, I spent at the office, at the beginning of it, I was presented with the deposit,
and in that presentation, it was explained to me exactly in which field of business the client
carries out the respective field of business. On this day I also received extensive training to
be able to get an idea of what I was going to do that day, regardless of the stage at which I
was. CSP Recruitment offers you the necessary opportunities for continuous improvement,
especially those that could process an intro like this.
The exposure I had to managers and senior executives allowed me to get a new perspective
from people who have already travelled this path of being a recruitment agent. Sharing
experiences but also obtaining invaluable knowledge from work colleagues, is an excellent
way to learn. They also offered me a formal mentoring program so I could achieve my goals.
On this day, also received training in this field for things such as interviews, sales techniques,
and labour rights, at the same time I explained the way to find suitable candidates for the
field in which this recruitment agency operates, the correct way to call these candidates but
also to prepare the CVs to send them to the client.
I also started looking into the job applications received over the weekend. This is followed
by the 'check-in' calls for permanent candidates required for their first day of work for the
new employer. Followed by briefing calls to candidates during lunch to ensure I am aware of
their requirements and availability.

Day 2

The next day, together with my mentor, I started to contact selected candidates and also
clients that the agency has in order to make sure that the interests of the agency are in the
first place, keeping up to date with the positions they had available, etc. after this we had to
write but also deal with the posting of vacancies, etc. After this, we got busy with the
preparation of the new announcements for the new vacancies and available roles. We also
had some pre-interview briefings with the candidates to make sure they were comfortable,
confident, and prepared for their interviews later in the week.
At the end of the day, we had to solve all the administration at the same time to ensure that
the database was updated with all the reservations, phone calls, and e-mails, but especially
that all of these are recorded and tracked.
Follow-up on the morning tasks. Typically, if I’ve left a voicemail or email to a candidate in
the morning, I’ll start hearing back from them after lunchtime. It’s important for me to stay
on top of those who I’ve reached out to so that I’m on the ball when they call me
unexpectedly later on!

Day 3

Wednesday morning is usually the sales-focused meeting in the CSP recruitment centre and
after that we had to attend the meeting with the client, we were with at that time to see
their new requirements and present them with the list of possible candidates for the
vacancies. they have them.
First, check those emails! While I was away from my office, I might have received interview
details from a client or inquiries received from those candidates.
It goes without saying that there will be several interviews scheduled on this day, they
usually last around 35-40 minutes whether it is a face-to-face meeting in the agency's office
or one held on Skype! After we took care of posting the vacancies, they received numerous
CVs from various candidates. Our task is to select the CVs and identify the candidates who
are the best fit for the position. Although you can use an applicant tracking system, you will
also manually review some resumes before shortlisting candidates.

Day 4

Thursday morning, we will start with the registration of the candidates, after which we write
the profiles on them so that they can be sent to the clients, but at the same time to
complete the interview pre-briefs. Also, during this time, they are trying to find candidates
for the jobs that the agency has in its extensive database, LinkedIn, and other online sites.
Then I'm back in the office and on the phone with some of my clients to discuss my newly
registered candidates. Then I catch up with all my candidates who attended interviews that
week. We do a debriefing and then I call my clients to see how the interviews felt. I pass
feedback back and forth so everyone is in the loop.
Sometimes I get temporary phone bookings for the following week for roles like
payroll/accounts admins etc. So I then get on the phone to speak to my bank of temps to
complete the booking.

Day 5

Recruiter Team Meeting! At Instant Impact, our team of recruiters is extremely

collaborative; we try to stay in the know with candidates in process and live roles. By
meeting weekly and having quick catchups every day, we can share strong candidates,
suggest new leads, and talk about roles that we’re running that are proving to be hard to
search for. It’s great to have the whole team’s support in the search for top talent!
Then onto the phones to check in any temporary candidates and to complete some business
development calls. Friday tends to be offer day, so I’ll be speaking to candidates and
negotiating. I’ll have registrations in the office followed by my end-of-week calls to clients to
see how candidates got in in their first week at work along with re-books for temporary
staff. We have an end-of-week meeting to review how things have gone and then set
ourselves out for the new week with our task list.

Conclusion

Work as a recruitment consultant is mostly carried out in the office, but at the same time it
can involve some travel to other locations, such as some warehouses or hotels, some
government departments or even some retail outlets, all these depending on the type or
structure of the employer.
From a general point of view, a recruitment consultant requires good personal and
communication skills, which are very important to succeed in performing the duties of the
job. Basically, a recruitment consultant brings in certain candidates, analysing them in order
to match them with the appropriate job descriptions on the client list. In order to succeed in
doing this, recruitment consultants need good skills and very good sales skills, but at the
same time good communication skills and solid judgment of people.
As a recruitment consultant, you need the promotion of strong relationships but at the
same time also the duration of your day-to-day job. Learning about your clients' specific
hiring needs and understanding what motivates a person to work will enable you to match
the right people to the right jobs. In addition to the external relationships that I can develop,
I must know how to build some very strong relationships with work colleagues.
In Great Britain there are many opportunities, most of the jobs being available in cities or
large metropolises. Some specialist roles are more likely to be found in an organisation's
headquarters, usually in a major city.
The type of organization, the structure of the HR department and your own field of activity
determine the opportunities for travel both in the UK and elsewhere. Careers can be
international, even at junior level.
