- Cause of Death
The disease or injury that started the chain of morbid events that led
directly to death, or the circumstances of the accident or violence, are
referred to as the cause of death.
To examine the cause of death we need to identify the Defining
cause like Blunt Force Trauma, Injury from Gunshot etc. Example of that is If
someone hits you in the head with a ball bat, that's blunt force trauma. If
someone shoots you, that's death from a gunshot. There are five
classifications of manner of death, including natural accident, suicide,
homicide, and undetermined. The fundamental reason for the person's death
is the cause, and the method is a legal determination given to that cause.
When coroners make decisions that contradict the medical examiner, families
might become confused. You have caused the manner and the process of
death, which is the physiological arrangement that ends in death. The method
of death is determined by examination, and it might be any of the five options
except natural.
The method of death refers to how the damage or disease causes death.
There are five ways to die (natural, accident, suicide, homicide, and
undetermined). It is essential to have accurate cause-of-death information:
• To the public health community in analyzing and enhancing all citizens'
health, and• Frequently to the decedent's family, both now and in the future,
and to the person settling the decedent's inheritance.
Cause-of-death data is important for surveillance, research, design of
public health and medical interventions, and funding decisions for
research and development.
The mode description characterizes their demise for public health purposes.
This information can be utilized to help improve public health in a variety of
ways, including advocating for optimal financial allocation.
