Ex6: Write the letter in appropriate style using 120-180 words

1. Last week your colleagues at the office threw a surprise party to celebrate your
promotion. Write a letter to a friend telling him/her about the party.

Dear Rose,

I hope this letter finds you well. I couldn't wait to share some exciting news with you!

Last week, my colleagues at the office surprised me with a fantastic party to celebrate my
recent promotion. It was absolutely incredible! As I walked into the office that day, I was
greeted with cheers and applause. The entire place was beautifully decorated with balloons,
streamers, and a banner that read, "Congratulations on Your Promotion!" The atmosphere
was filled with joy and laughter. My colleagues had organized various activities and games to
make the party even more enjoyable. We played some hilarious party games and shared many
memorable moments together. The highlight of the event was when they presented me with a
thoughtful and heartfelt gift, which left me feeling truly appreciated. I am incredibly grateful
to have such amazing colleagues who went above and beyond to make this celebration
unforgettable. It was such a wonderful surprise and definitely a moment I will cherish for a
long time.

I can't wait to catch up with you and share more details about the party in person. Let's plan a
get-together soon.

Until then, take care and sending you warmest regards!

Yours sincerely,

Ngan
