Paolo Guerrero also called El Predador or El Pistolero, is a Peruvian footballer who plays as
a center forward for Racing Club of the Argentine Professional Football League.One of the
soccer players most loved by the country of Peru is undoubtedly the Peruvian soccer player
José Paolo Guerrero Gonzales is by far the all-time top scorer of the Peruvian team with 39
goals.
He was born on January 1, 1984 in Chorrillos, Lima. He is the son of José Guerrero and
Petronila Gonzáles.He began his sports career at the age of 7 in the minor divisions of the
Alianza Lima club, where he played between 1991 and 2002.With the red and white, he has
achieved 2 bronze medals in the Copa América (2011 and 2015), being the top scorer in
these two editions.During the qualifiers, he became one of the benchmarks for qualifying for
the 2018 Soccer World Cup.

With the Peruvian soccer team, he is the top scorer in history with 32 goals.3 He has also
won two bronze medals in the 2011 and 2015 editions of the Copa América, also being the
top scorer in these two editions. Likewise, he is the top active scorer in the named
tournament with 11 goals, ranking 12th in the history of the Copa América.
