Work: Story

Tittle: Getting ready for the murder

Theme: Murder.

Actors: Everyone except Aleisha.

Narrator: Aleisha

Detective: Diego

Killed: Ailanis

Friends: Lizzie, Delany, Salline and Hiraniliz

Plot: A group of friends are getting ready to go out and a blackout occurs. In the middle of that blackout,
one of them is murdered in cold blood with a knife.

Script:

Cassie, Emily, Maddie, Ruth, Victory

(scene friends getting ready)

Cassie: I'm so excited for today's party.

Ruth: Sure, because you'll see James.

Cassie: He talked to me in class today so that's a sign.

Maddie: Just to ask you for a job like always.

Ruth: Enough girls, Cassie likes it and it's valid.

Victory: She doesn't just like, she die for him.


Emily: It's true, so true.

Maddie: She really should die.

Cassie: Girls, I'm going to the bathroom.

(The lights are turned off)

They all start screaming.

Ruth: Are you all okay girls?

(They all respond in chorus) Yes.

(Lights come on)

Emily: Oh finally.

Maddie: Where's Cassie?

Victory: When the lights went out, she was on her way to the bathroom, I'll go look for her.

(Victory walks to the bathroom)

(Victory yells from the bathroom)

(They all run to the bathroom)

All: AAAAA

Victory: She's dead! Noooo… How?


Maddie: We need to call 911.

(Phone ringing)

(An hour later)

(Body with black sheet)

(a mysterious-looking young man enters)

(Everyone in the room sitting down)

Detective: I need to interview all of you.

Maddie: Now? We just lost our friend; you have no heart.

Detective: Do you want justice for your friend?

Ruth: Sure.

Victory: (crying)

Detective: I need a room to interview all of you, but first I need to analyse the crime scene.

(The detective goes to the crime scene and examines the body)

(An hour later)

Detective: Here I have the evidence, I'll take it to analyze but first I'll interview all of you.

Detective: Okay now let's get started.


Emily: This way, gentleman.

(The detective enters the room)

Maddie: I don't like this guy.

(The detective exits)

Detective: I need your names, write them on this piece of paper.

(The detective enters the room)

(They all pick up the paper and Emily finishes and hands it to her.)

Detective: Ruth come this way.

Maddie: Remember stay calm you didn't see anything right?

Ruth: Of course not, it was just us here and we wouldn't be able to.

(Ruth enters)

Detective: Have a seat.

(He sits)

Detective: What were you doing when they found her?

Ruth: I was trying on clothes.


Detective: How was your relationship with Cassie?

Ruth: Our frienship was very good, I always supported and defended her.

Detective: Was there ever any hate between you?

Ruth: No, Cassie and Maddie hated each other.

Detective: Ooh...

(minutes later)

Detective: Emily, come in.

(Emily enters)

Detective: What were you doing when they found her?

Emily: I was finishing my makeup.

Detective: How was your relationship with Cassie?

Emily: We weren't very close, but I always looked up to her.

Detective: In your circle of friends, did anyone hate Cassie?

Emily: Well…Maddie and she weren't very close.

Detective: Thank you very much.

(Emily leaves the room)

Detective: Victory pass

(Victory enters the room)

Detective: What were you doing when they found her?


Victory: Eating and waiting for everyone to finish.

Detective: How was your relationship with Cassie?

Victory: We were like sisters; I don't know how someone could do something like that to her.

Detective: In your circle of friends, did anyone hate Cassie?

Victory: Maddie, it was always Maddie who fight with her.

Detective: Thank you very much.

(The bedroom door opens, and Maddie stands up a little anxiously)

Maddie: My turn, right?

Detective: Go ahead.

(Maddie sits down)

Maddie: Before I start, I want you to know that she was my friend and I love her so much.

Detective: What were you doing when they found her?

Maddie: I was outside talking with James.

Detective: Who is James?

Maddie: A person I date.

Detective: Any pictures?

Maddie: No.

Detective: How was your relationship with Cassie?

Maddie: Well, as I told you, I loved her, she was my friend.

Detective: In your circle of friends, did anyone hate Cassie?

Maddie: Ruth was a bit of a hypocrite with her.

Detective: Thank you very much.

(Everyone in the room)

Detective: Thank you all, I'll be in touch very soon, leave your numbers on this piece of paper.

(Hands her a piece of paper and they all write)

Days after…
(Detective sending voice message)

Detective: I have strong evidence about the death of your friend, but I need your confirmation.

(Notification sound)

(Detective enters Emily's house)

Emily: Good afternoon, Detective.

Detective: Good afternoon, everyone.

(The detective sits down)

Detective: I'm glad your friend Maddie isn't here.

Ruth: Why?

Detective: I need to ask everyone a question.

(Everyone nods)

Detective: James was something of Cassie's

Ruth: They were friends, Cassie had a crush on him.

Detective: Was James Maddie's boyfriend?

Victory: No, why?

Detective: Maddie and Cassie didn't have a good relationship?

Emily: She sucked; Maddie hated her.

Ruth: She would never kill her.

Detective: Call Maddie and tell her to come here.

(Emily leaves the room)

(Emily enters)

Emily: It's on its way.

(Minutes later)

Maddie: Hey girls!

(All serious)
Detective: Maddie you are under arrest for the murder of Cassie Huston. You have the right to remain
silent and to refuse to answer questions.

(All crying, as the detective approaches Maddie)

(Maddie runs to the door, but is abruptly stopped by the detective)

Ruth: No no no...

Victory: You stink

Emily: Why Maddie?

Maddie: (yelling) She wanted to steal James from me, she was a stupid girl.

(Maddie forces himself with the Detective, and manages to get a blade out of her pocket)

(Maddie stabs the Detective and he falls)

(Everyone starts screaming)

(Maddie runs and leaves the place)
