Ladies and Gentlemen,

My job this evening is very simple, and I will get to it right away.

On behalf of Her Excellency Mrs. Sylvia Naa Adaawa Annoh, Ghana’s

Ambassador to Denmark, I have the pleasure to welcome our dear friends
from the Danish Africa Society, as well as cherished friends of the Ghana
Embassy.

In Ghana, we would say Akwaaba! To wit welcome, feel comfortable, feel at

home, and have fun.

As an Embassy, it is always our pride and joy to play host and it was
therefore music to our ears when the Danish Africa Soceíety gave us this
opportunity to host their event and to also co-organise the event with them.

You are all most welcome to the Ghana Embassy in Denmark. I hope that
you have taken some time to visit our exhibition stand to get a feel of what
Ghana is all about, and we also do hope that the Ghanaian cultural
performances did the trick to get you inspired to visit Ghana soon.

In a nutshell, Akwaaba! Do enjoy your time here this evening, an do visit
