PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS: DECEMBER 16th to 18th DECEMBER 2022

1. Today is the 4th Sunday of Advent. May the Love of Christ be with all our families.

2. On Tuesday 20th December Fr. Franco completes 25 years as a Priest. Together

with him and his family we thank the Lord for the blessings showered on him and
through him on many people during these 25 years. Congratulations dear Fr.
Franco and may God continue to use you as his instrument in our parish and in the
world.

3. Our beloved priests Fr. Derrick, Fr. Bosco, Fr. Savio, Fr. Louis and Fr.
Johnson celebrate their Ordination Anniversaries during this month. Let
us pray for their happiness and good health and may they continue to inspire
us as they serve in our Parish.
All are invited for the Concelebrated Holy Mass on Tuesday 20 th December
at 6:30pm to celebrate their anniversaries.

4. Confessions in English will be available from Monday 19 th December to Thursday

22nd December from 6:30 am to 7:30 am & 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Children ONLY: Saturday17th December from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.
Malayalam: 10th and 17th from December 9:00 to 12:00 noon.
Konkani, Tagalog and Tamil: Before the respective masses.

5. The Filipino Simbang Gabi or the Missa De Gallo will be celebrated from December
15th to 23rd at 9:30 pm and December 16th to 24th at 4:00 am.
On these days the Morning 5:45 am mass will be celebrated in the Courtyard.

6. The Salmiya Parish Youth (SPY) and Salesian Cooperators invite parishioners to
celebrate the joy of Christmas with 'Tinsel & Twinkle' A Star Competition, A
Christmas Tree competition and A Crib Competition.  The last date to submit
your name for participation is on 20th December 2022.  More details are posted on
the Church notice board.

7. The Pre-marriage seminar in our Parish will be held on Monday, 26th of

December. For more details, please contact the parish office.

8. The Parish Office will remain closed from Friday 23 rd December to

Wednesday 28th December 2022. For any emergency, please contact Fr. Savio
by phone. Please Note: The Mass timings are not an emergency.

9. The Christmas and New Year Mass Schedule is on the Parish App and on the
Parish Website. It is also displayed on the Church Notice Board.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHIRISTMAS & NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
 Parishioners are requested to come only 10 minutes before the mass
they want to attend, to avoid overcrowding outside.
 Mass intentions will not be read before Masses over the Christmas
Vigil, on Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and at New Year Day Masses.
 There will be only two entrances into the Church for mass.
 Parishioners are requested to park their vehicles away from the
Church and obey the instructions of the ushers and traffic menders.
