Young Indians (Yi) is a movement for Indian Youth to converge, lead, co co-create and
influence India’s future. Yi, formed in 2002 as an integral part of the Confederation of Indian
Industry (CII), has created a platform for young Indians to work towards realizing a dream of
a developed nation. Yi has an inclusive membership across its pan--India 58 city chapters
network comprising of over 50005 direct members, who represent young progressive Indians
between the age group of 21 - 45 years comprising entrepreneurs, professionals, and
achievers from different walks of life and Yi stakeholders which include 11,20,000 plus YUVA
college students : 1.2 Million+ school children and 118 rural communities across the
country.
Through thousands of impactful projects and activities divided primarily into three areas: "Youth
Leadership”,, Yi aims to emerge as the
Leadership", "Nation Building” and “Thought Leadership”
premier Indian youth organization having a voice on relevant platforms that work on solving
India’s problems. Yi grooms its members for offices of significance and enables Indian youth to
converge, collaborate and co--create using an expanding digitally enabled network.

order to build the nation we want to live and prosper in. This would be achieved
through projects and ventures of Yi embody the Yuva spirit of being the change
makers in the nation. We celebrate positive leadership of the individual i.e. the
member in the organization and strive for our goals to move from success to
significance, whether as a student, entrepreneur, or a professional.

4. Learn-Bond-Grow:
Personal responsibility; is core to learning, engaging with fellow membe

Retreats are aimed at empowering peer networks locally, nationally and globally
fostering the bond of being a Young Indian.

(1) A dialogue between young Indian achievers and governance institutions of urban
and rural local bodies on participatory models of governance;
(2) A dialogue between young Indian achievers and business networ

that mentor entrepreneurs on how to build an ecosystem for business and work
towards Industry 4.0;
(3) A dialogue between young Indian
