coordinator of each university for further detail before applying to any program.
The applicants have to submit applications directly to the host institutions within
the application period of each program. The selection process will be made by the host
institutions’ committee.

Scholarship Conditions During the period of the scholarship, the Scholarship Recipient shall
I. work for MFU for not less than 60 hours per academic year,
II. report working hours at least 5 hours per month to the Global
Relations Division before the 8th of every month,
III. pursue his/her study diligently and in good conduct,
IV. comply with the rules and regulations of MFU,
V. participate regularly in MFU’s extra-curricular activities,

VI. update with MFU’s news and announcements,
VII. submit his/her academic record of each semester to the Global
Relations Division within one week after academic record
announcement,
VIII. remain grade point average (GPAX) of 2.5
IX. not applies for other scholarships without permission from
the MFU scholarship committee,
X. not be allowed to change the study program, and
XI. Resign from MFU by getting the permission from scholarship
committee. If not, the Scholarship Recipient shall repay the full
amount of the scholarship to MFU within three (3) months. Failure
to comply shall lead to prosecution.

Eligibility Requirements The applicant must have a cumulative grade point average from high
school or its equivalent of at least 3.00. Any evaluation, examination,
or interview will be in accordance with the conditions and criteria
specified in the announcement.

semester, however, if the applicant receives a GPAX lower than
3.00 in the subsequent semester, the scholarship will be canceled.
If the applicants receive a GPAX of at least 3.00 the subsequent
semester, the applicant will be considered to have met the
scholarship requirements henceforth.
3. Grades for each subject in each semester must be received. If an
applicant receives an “I” (“incomplete”), the grantee will not be
considered eligible the following semester except for instances
where the grantee is considered by the scholarship committee on
a case-by-case basis.
4. A grantee must be enrolled for at least 70 percent of the study
schedule for each semester, except for instances considered by
the scholarship committee on a case-by-case basis.
5. The grantee must participate in international student activities
hosted by the Office of International Relations each semester,
including at least 80 percent of all hour activities during the
semester.
6. From the beginning of the scholarship grant period and
throughout semesters to the completion of the bachelor’s degree
program, the grantee must remain under the supervision of the
scholarship grantor. A grantee must conduct him/herself in
accordance with the university’s policies and follow the laws,
rules, regulations, and orders, which stipulate any actions related
to the scholarship holder’s study according to this contract,
including those issued prior to the date of this contract and any
subsequent ones. The grantee must strictly conform to these
legal requirements and consider them part of this contract.
7. From the beginning of the scholarship grant period and through
all semesters to completion of the bachelor’s degree program,
the grantee must remain under the supervision of the scholarship
grantor, and agrees to:

- follow the regulations imposed by the program of study
admitting the grantee and completing studies required by the
scholarship.
- study full-time at UBU. In order to return to the home country
for any reason, the grantees must receive formal approval
from the faculty prior to departure.
- refrain from committing any illegal or inappropriate acts.
- be responsible for any expenses not covered by the
scholarship
- be responsible for any debts incurred in Thailand.
8. The grantee must make a concerted effort to study the subject
matter determined by the scholarship grantor. The grantee must
complete studies within the time period specified by the program
of study without neglecting and/or resigning from the program
of study prior to the completion of the degree. Any interruption
of studies must be approved with an official letter from the
scholarship grantor.
9. The scholarship grantor has the right to terminate scholarship
support for the grantee at any time if deemed appropriate.
If the cause of such a termination is not the grantee’s fault they
do not have to repay the scholarship.
10. If the scholarship grantor considers that the grantee has violated
any or all aspects of the contract, provided incorrect information,
or does not complete their studies, the grantee must accept the
scholarship grantor’s decision and agrees not to prosecute the
scholarship grantor even if such a decision leads to the
termination of the scholarship.

Scholarship Conditions Must strictly comply with the rules and regulations of Walailak
University and Walailak University International College,
including the degree requirements. Failure to comply with the
rules and regulations of Walailak University will result in the
termination of the scholarship.
Must maintain grade with a GPA of at least 3.00 without grade
F or U in any course for the duration of the four-year degree.
A recipient whose GPA is lower than 3.00 in any semester will
have his/her scholarship suspended for the following
semesters.
Must submit a proof of medical insurance covering the
duration of stay in Thailand in order to get Acceptance Letter
for visa application to enter Thailand.

Eligibility Requirements 1. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or are studying in last
semester (and to graduate before first intake start) in any field from
universities with minimum GPA 2.75 (or equivalent to GPA 2.75 in
Thailand’s grading system)
2. Applicants are required to submit a test score of either 500 for
TOEFL, 5.5 IELTS, 500 or any Test of English Proficiency that

Scholarship Conditions A Bachelor’s Degree in any field with a cumulative GPA of 2.5
and above from an accredited university. All scholarship
applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and above.
Minimum requirement for English Proficiency is 6.0 for IELTS
(IELTS 4.5 is acceptable see NOTE) *, 500 for paper-based
TOEFL test, 61 for internet-based TOEFL test,and 500 for TU-
GET. The official score report of English Proficiency is valid
only if the test was taken no more than 2 years prior to the
last date of the application submission period.
Requirement for English Proficiency does not applied for
native English speakers. Students with an International
Bachelor’s Degree Program are not required to submit
official evidence of English Proficiency test score upon

Scholarship Conditions 1. The Internship Grant Support will be awarded for a duration of
internships from 4 to 6 months.
2. The applicant needs to apply for a Non-immigrant “ED” visa
(study permit). Scholars entering Thailand on a tourist visa
cannot enroll and may have their scholarships canceled.

Scholarship Conditions Must strictly comply with the rules and regulations of
Walailak University and Walailak University International
College, including the degree requirements. Failure to
comply with the rules and regulations of Walailak University
will result in the termination of the scholarship.
Must maintain grade with a GPA of at least 3.00 without
grade F or U in any course for the duration of the four-year
degree. A recipient whose GPA is lower than 3.00 in any
semester will have his/her scholarship suspended for the
following semesters.
Must submit a proof of medical insurance covering the
duration of stay in Thailand in order to get Acceptance
Letter for visa application to enter Thailand.
