What after 10th?

If you are among one of those students who are perplexed in choosing the right path after your 10th, well, do not worry. We are going to help you to choose the
right path.

It’s not so hard to choose your stream once you have found the path in which your interests and dislikes lie, the subjects your good at, and the most important
factor is that you should work hard in achieving your goals.

In India, the students have many career paths to choose from. Here’s the list of the following streams the students can opt from:

ARTS/HUMANITIES
COMMERCE
SCIENCE

ARTS/HUMANITIES
In the arts stream, there are many fields to choose from. This stream offers subject such as English, Hindi, History, Geography, Political Science, Psychology,
Sanskrit and Sociology, for the higher secondary level. But one has to opt for four compulsory subjects in addition to English and a Modern Indian Language. If
you are interested to pursue a career in Mass Media, Journalism, Literature, Languages, Sociology, Social Service, Human Psychology, History, Geography,
Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Human Resources, Economics and history this course is apt for you.

SCIENCE
It has career choices in two courses which are Engineering and Medical Sciences.

In Engineering, you need to understand concepts while in Medicine, you need to memorize them. Engineering requires analytical thinking and grasping power
while Medicine requires memorization and learning skills.

The common subjects for these two courses are Physics, Mathematics Chemistry, Sanskrit and English. If you choose Medicine over Engineering then the subject
offered other than the above mentioned is Biology.

choose from Math, Statistics, Economics, to History, Geography, Political Science, etc. for those two additional subjects.

The courses for which students can apply after Commerce stream are B.Com, BBA, BMS, BBM, CFA, CA, ICWA, CFP etc.

There are many other streams to choose from other than the above mentions streams. They are as follows:

VOCATIONAL COURSES
The courses in this stream are Interior Designing, Fire and Safety, Cyber Laws, Jewellery Designing, Fashion Designing and more.

Students having Polytechnic diploma courses can get admission into second year of technical degree courses through entrance exam.

The subjects which the students will learn in polytechnic will also be in Engineering and they can complete their Engineering course with less expenditure.

This course duration is three years after 10th.

Still confused on what course to take?

Just weigh all the options and choose the stream that best suites you. And if you feel that you made a mistake in choosing a particular field, then there is nothing
to worry about. As there are plenty of other options as well after your 12th. You can choose Law, Sports, Mass communication, etc. according to your interests.

ALL THE BEST!!
