Dear GFS Parents,

We hope this message finds you well. We are reaching out to invite you to take on a meaningful role within our
community – the position of Class Parent Representative.

What is the Class Parent Representative?


The Class Parent Representative is a voluntary role that plays a crucial part in our school's communication and
community-building efforts. This role is a bridge between you, your child's class, and the school at large.
Supported by the class teacher/form tutor, the Class Parent Representative ensures that all parents in their
class are well-informed about important class and school-related updates.

What Does a Class Parent Representative Do?


Communication: You'll help disseminate accurate and official information from the school, ensuring that
parents stay informed and engaged.
Community Building: Coordinating social events within your class and helping promote GFPA (GFS Parent
Association) events that foster a sense of togetherness within the GFS community.
Voice of Positivity: Be a pillar of positivity when parents feel the need for their voices to be heard. Your role is
instrumental in maintaining a positive and supportive environment.
Advocacy: Represent the collective viewpoint of parents in a clear and concise manner, working closely with
the class teacher/form tutor to address concerns or provide feedback.
Collaboration: Collaborate with GFPA members to support broader school community initiatives and projects
that enhance our GFS experience.
Additional Responsibilities:
While your consistent presence is not mandatory, please note that this role does require a commitment to fulfill
various assignments or tasks as requested by the teacher.
