Avalon Go Home Computer Configuration

1
This is a guide to have your computer set up for the first time.

1. As a first step, you need to have the DUO Mobile app installed in your phone. You will find it either from the App
Store or Play Store. Type DUO Mobile and and download it:

Once you have downloaded the app will look like this:

Even when it’s asking for set up, DO NOT TRY TO SET IT UP just leave the app installed. To configure this app your Team
Lead has to raise a ticket so you can get an enrollment link that will be sent to the phone number you provide (It’s
necessary that the number provided is your personal phone because you’ll receive approval requests every time you log
into the VPN (we’ll talk more about it later).

2
2.Get the computer out of the box and with the power and ethernet cable connected the only thing to do will be to turn
the computer on.

On the login screen, use the following information to log in:

User name: workathomeagent

Pw: concentrix

Once you press return (enter) you’ll get prompted for a password change; here you need to create a new password.

The new password you have created will be the credentials that give you access to the desktop.

REMEMBER that from now on “workathomeagent” is your login user and along with the password created will be the
tools you have to unlock the computer and get the desktop.

3.The next step is to look for the VPN, you can find it in:

• The apps folder in Finder:

• Or you can also press command+space bar in the keyboard and type FortiClient

This application is the VPN (virtual point access) that will allow the iMac get connected to the Avalon network for you to
start working from home.

4
4.When you open the app, select the REMOTE ACCESS TAB to access the next screen:

5.Click the gear icon and select “Add new connection”

After that, you’ll see the following screen:

5
6. This is the information the VPN has to have to get it configured:

• Connection name: AVALON VPN

• Description: Avalon VPN
• Remote Gateway: 181.193.40.45
• Check the customize port box and add 10443

When you enter the information, the VPN should look like this:

7. When clicking Apply, you have to see this screen:

6
8. At this point you will have to use your Bigbyte credentials to log in so enter it (Remember that it is name.last
name and password ):

Remember the DUO Mobile app you downloaded at the very beginning?!

At this moment you should have this app open on your cell phone right next to you because when you hit the “Connect”
button, this app will help you verify the credentials for you to get access to the Avalon network.

This is just a reference image taken from the internet but the approval request would look similar to this:

7
9.When the session login gets approved and the VPS is active, the screen should look like this:

10. At this point the computer will be connected to the Avalon network. All tools should work with no issues but the
first tool we need to open is Self Service and look for a tool called Netskope:

8
11. When you click on the Netskope tool install button, you’ll be asked to submit your email information:

12. Now is time to install the tools you need for work. One of the most important one is the AppleConnect (install
the newest version of the ones available) :

Install Core if the computer doesn’t have it

If you get to this point, you are now all set up to start taking chats or calls depending on
what your role skills are.

9
Please don’t forget that if Core gives you any issue, the first tool you MUST use is the Avalon Troubleshooting
Guide. If you have any doubt about the tool usage, your team leads will be able to help you out.

Last but no least, thank you guys please be safe!
