Calibration Procedure of the Prehopper using

the Pfister Handheld PHT

-- with checkweights --
This presentation is a standard procedure to calibrate a
prehopper / silo.

The shown parameters and calibration figures are

examples only and may be different for each individual
plant.

For actual parameters please refer to the respective

backup files and data sheets.
It is also possible to calibrate the prehopper / silo
thoeretically without weights.
For smaller bins checkweights should be used for
calibration due to the higher accuracy of the
online calibrations later on.
Big silos may be calibrated without weights.

For calibration without weights please check the

presentation „calibrating the prehopper
without weights“.
ATTENTION

Due to a better overview of a full page display instead of

a one line display it is recommended to use a Laptop
and Hyper Terminal to carry out this calibration.
Also additional informations will be available with
Hyper Terminal.
Pfister Handheld PHT
PHT = Pfister Handheld Terminal
the load cells of the Prehopper scale (4 pcs) are located here
to carry out a calibration the following preconditions are
required

> feeder must be completely empty

> feeder must not be running

> prebin must be completely empty

> equipment must be in manual or local mode

> air pressure in the prebin must be zero

link the PHT to the CSC controller or to the LCB
