Do you Imagine that the online learning in Palestine during covid 19 crisis is efficient?

In this
essay, we will be talking about the efficiency of e-learning in Palestine during coronavirus crisis
in order to respond to this previous question. Online learning during this sanitary crisis has many
of not only advantages but also many of disadvantages.
In fact, online learning provides many benefits. First of all, online learning is more flexible;
students have the capacity to conciliate their careers and school or college. Besides, all lectures
are filmed and downloaded on Moodle, which facilitates in getting each piece of information.
Moreover, professors are available 24 hours; therefore, students can get in touch with their
teachers in any time and in any case. In addition to that, students use electronics frequently,
which enables them to be skillful in using computers, laptops, portables, etc. I can add something
really useful through this kind of learning, which is the new methodology of learning, as writing
research papers, thus enabling students to be more skillful. Also, many students complain about
the traffic jam which troubles them in arriving at university on time. Other students complain
about the high price of public transportation. So, online learning can be the best for those
students, for example.
Furthermore, during the pandemic situation especially in Palestine, distance education has a vast
utility in reducing the spread of covid or coronavirus. Since, the educational centers as schools,
universities and institutes are considered to be places where there are a lot of crowds of people.
So, in case the students do not respect the safety conventions such as wearing a mask, the virus
will spread facilely. So, the closure of these locations and turning to the e-learning assisted in
extenuating the propagation of the covid.
In the other hand, Online learning in Palestine has many problems. internet connection is not
qualifiable for online learning in Palestine. For many students, online learning is only a formality
and not a real substitute for regular teaching, which is not obligatory and they don’t have to
attend. Some students don’t have the proper equipment to assist online classes. They don’t have
electronic devices such as computers. Also, some teachers don’t consider the fact that during
online testing, the student may lose the internet connection. In addition, for some teachers, they
need serious preparation to use online tools. They are not all ready for the new situation, so it
takes more time for some teachers to prepare the material which they have to make easy to
understood by the student. Furthermore, it is difficult since the teacher and the students don’t see
each other. `
To sum up, I consider online learning as a suitable choice during covid crisis in order to resume
our studies and to confront the virus. However, it actually has some obstacles such as techniques’
issues. Finally, I hope that we could treat these barriers as soon as possible.
