I feel sad and I want my doll

Narrator: In the play corner at school there are many toys, but of all
those, there is one that is Miah's favorite, a small doll in a pink dress.
Miah: I really like playing with the doll, but I don't like having it taken
away from me. When they take my doll away, I feel very sad.
Narrator: But many girls like to play with the doll too.
Angie: Don't be sad, ask your friend for the doll
Miah: But she's not going to give it back to me and that makes me even
sadder and makes me cry. When I'm sad, I don't like to be talked to.
Angie: I'll go call the teacher, she'll shake your hand and that will make
you feel a little better.
Narrator: The teacher arrives, calms Miah down, and talks to the kids
about how important sharing is.
Miah: We will sit together and the teacher will help us with the problem
Angie: Let's go friends to share toys and have fun together (gives Miah a
hug)
Narrator: When we are sad it is important to receive hugs and to be kind
to us.
Miah: Now let's play together with the doll
Angie: I'm so glad you're not sad anymore
Narrator: No one is sad anymore, because playing together is so much
more fun.
