LETTER OF APPOINTMENT (SOFT COPY)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: We have in file, your resume, job application and other important
data. After the evaluation of these documents by our screening department, we found
you qualified to work with our team. Hence, Esprit Petroleum And Equipment seek to
employ you for the provision of services on this subject matter. Further details are
below:

DESIGNATION: Civil Project Engineer.

MONTHLY SALARY: 8,500 USD (Eight Thousand, Five Hundred United States Dollars)
monthly/basic, plus 500 USD (Five Hundred United States Dollars) weekly allowance.
OR the equivalents in Emirati Dirhams, Pounds Sterling, Euros, Rials ETC, depending on
home country and currency preference.

WORK TIMING: START: 9:00AM TO 1:00PM (BREAK), start again (2:00PM till
5.00PM). Work Days: Monday – Friday. Saturday and Sunday are holidays.

BENEFITS: 2 years residence/work permits, flight tickets, travel/medical insurance, three


bedrooms flat duplex/family accommodation, free education for your children (home
and abroad), new car and 14 days break/leave after every 90 working days.

JOB LOCATION: ISTANBUL – TURKEY

STARTUP DATE: 28th July, 2023 (Flexible)

DURATION OF CONTRACT: 24 Months (2 years contract–renewable)

ALLOWANCES/ENTITLEMENTS:
Car maintenance: 1,005 USD (Monthly)
House & furnishings: 10,440 USD (Yearly)
Entertainment & recreation: 625 USD (Monthly)
Travel & events: 990 USD (Monthly)
PAID LEAVE PERIOD/TRAVEL: All employees will receive 5,775 USD take home for each
leave period. Employee for each inter-continental trip shall be paid 3,630 USD
travel/entertainment allowance. Travel shall be by first/business class flight, or
otherwise if necessary.

However for the purpose of commencement, the cost of travel ticket shall be paid in
addition to travel / entertainment allowance. Cost shall be substantiated and shall be the
rate charged at the period/time of purchase. Employer shall also take care of employees'
travel ticket including that of employees' family only on employees' early notification to
employer and shall be requested by employee.

NON-TURKEY RESIDENTS: In line with the Turkish expatriate statuary law, all foreign
employees must obtain the Foreigner Worker’s Certificate, AFTER which the Employer
will sponsor/process their residence/work permits, flight ticket, and other traveling
materials. Accordingly, all employees will incur the initial cost of their Foreigner
Worker’s Certificate, and must contact CUMHURIYET TRAVEL CONSULTANCY
TURKEY, in this regard.

REIMBURSEMENT OF EXPENSES: Expenses made by employee related to job before


commencement of duties or expenses made during travel plans, processing of travel
particulars will be substantiated with receipt and employer will reimburse the employee
not later than five (5) working days after the submission of employee's expense report
and receipt as proof of such expense.

UPFRONT PAYMENT OF SALARIES: Two monthly salaries shall be paid in advance before
employees embark on journey to assume duty. This is to enable employees settle all
domestic needs before travel. As such no excuses will be entertained on assumption of
duty relating to default.

Employees are to note that 2-months upfront salaries are paid, AFTER they procure the
Foreigner Worker’s Certificate through CUMHURIYET TRAVEL CONSULTANCY in
TURKEY, and submit toour HR department for confirmation.

PROBATION: There will be 14-days probationary period with full pay during which you will
be given objectives to achieve. Upon satisfactory completion of the probationary period, you
will be considered to continue your job as one of our effective employees for successfully
abiding the probationary policy.

ACCOMODATION/FEEDING: All employees are expected to reside at our staff quarters.


There are 3 bedroom flat apartments, new car, for employees use during contract.
Dietary options, customized cooks and dietitians are available options.
In case of local dishes, we have chefs from various countries to handle such.

MEDICAL EXPENSES: Employer will provide the employee (and family, if any) with
comprehensive health care for the term of contract, and follow-on care for injuries (if
any) suffered, during the term of contract for employee and family.

OFFICE ASSETS TO BE PROVIDED BY EMPLOYER: Laptop computer/desk top with full time
internet access is made available. Phone: Employer will provide each employee with a
telephone; this shall have a reasonable credit limit application per month.
TERMINATION: Termination without cause: Either party may terminate this agreement
without cause upon ninety (90) days prior written notice to the other. Termination for
cause: Either party may terminate this agreement for cause if the other party repeatedly
defaults in the performance of its obligations and has not cured such default within 30
days of receipt of a default notice specifying the default and the intention to terminate.

AMENDMENT: This agreement may be amended only by a writing that is signed byboth
parties.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES: Recreational/sports facilities shall be made available at the
disposal of all staff with no expenses to be incurred. Laundry and dry cleaning service
will also be made available by the company's laundry and dry cleaning unit.
DOCUMENTS FOR PROCESSING FOREINER WORKER’S CERTIFICATE: Employee
is requested to contact the below office, which is responsible for the procurement of
his/her Foreigner/Expatriate Worker’s Certificate, and then forward it us for
confirmation. Hence, any expenses incurred shall be refunded to the employee after 5
working days of concluding above requested protocol.
