ETOP Analysis: It is a tool for the study of all the external factors that can affect a
company. This is achieved by knowing what are the political, economic, socio-
cultural, technological, ecological and legal factors that influence a business and
the effects they cause. It is the unequivocal complement to other marketing
alternatives that exist in the market. This allows for better results and better
conclusions. The ETOP analysis should be carried out every month or quarter if
the business is very recent and growing. If it is a company with more experience in
the market, already established, this analysis can be carried out every six months
or annually.
The elaboration of the ETOP analysis serves as the unconditional informant of how
is the situation of the company and the environment that surrounds it. With the
information provided by the ETOP analysis, there is a clearer vision of the strategy
to be drawn up to direct the course of the company. By knowing what the
company's environment is like, you can react more safely and use the advantages
and disadvantages found. The ETOP analysis is used when preparing a business,
strategic, marketing, and financial plan (Maldonado, 2018).
Strategic Culture: It is based on the values, beliefs and principles that constitute
the roots of a company's system. The right culture attracts, motivates, and retains
top talent and prepares the organization to adapt to changing conditions.
Human Resources planning seeks to ensure optimal use of the company's
personnel, and provide talent according to the future needs of the organization;
and overall, its importance is that the work environment is better and there are
highly effective collaborators, the institutional objectives will be met according to
plan, since they are the essential capital in any organization (Bueno Campos,
1996).
The strategic plan and the Organizational Culture are directly related. On the one
hand, the strategic plan highlights the development directions of the Organizational
Culture, which means that the Organizational Culture is strategically oriented
(Strategic Culture). In addition, the strategic plan to be carried out and achieve its
objectives depends on whether the culture favors it or allows it, if the strategic plan
does not allow developing and promoting the culture, it is impossible to achieve the
expected results. The advantage of a Strategic Culture is that its members
understand the Mission, Vision and Objectives, so they direct their behaviors to
achieve it and adopt the new value system. Organizational Culture has become a
component of relevant strategic importance and competitive advantage for those
companies seeking significant growth. Another element that is worth highlighting in
the creation of a culture is the strategic direction, which is linked to the Business
Vision and the short, medium and long term perspectives. The key point is to know
to what extent the Business Vision and Mission coincide with the strategies so that
these and the culture do not conflict with each other (Maldonado, 2018).
permite obtener mejores resultados y llegar a mejores conclusiones.
