Compressor Time-Out
This code indicates a bad relay, compressor failure or jammed suspension, seat will be disabled
until tractor is brought to zero speed. The Information and Read Manual indicators will flash.

1 Preliminary Check
Action:
Check fuse F45 located in the fuse panel.
Result:
OK:
GO TO 2 .
NOT OK:
Make necessary repairs.
GO TO 2 .
2 Seat Compressor Check
Action:
NOTE:
Recall, Record and Clear Codes before proceeding. (See Reference 245-
05-001 .)
Seat must be in the center of it’s travel range to ensure that the ride
zone limits do not interfere with the test.
Result:
OK:
Seat raises with switch and code doesn’t return. Diagnosis complete.
NOT OK:
Seat raises with switch and code returns. Perform Compressor Circuit Test (ACTIVE SEAT™),
(See Reference 240-15-016 ).
Repeat Step 2 .
NOT OK:
Seat raises very slowly or stops before reaching top of ride zone with the compressor still
running.
GO TO 3 .
NOT OK:
Seat not raising and compressor not running with switch. Perform Compressor Circuit Test
(ACTIVE SEAT™), (See Reference 240-15-016 ).
Repeat Step 2 .
Action:
CAUTION:
To prevent seat from lowering and causing injury use JDG1424 Support
Block while working under seat assembly. Remove tool before cycling
seat.
Loosen top of seat boot and check scissor suspension for corroded, damaged or worn
parts. Remove any foreign objects that could be jamming the suspension.
Result:
OK:
No problem found. Perform Compressor Circuit Test (ACTIVE SEAT™), (See Reference 240-
15-016 ).
GO TO 2 .
NOT OK:
Made necessary repairs.
GO TO 2 .
