Hiring Manager: Start Date:

Early Wins [Colleague’s Name]

Early Wins helps identify a few key deliverables the new hire can take on to build confidence and know-how early in the role.

The manager and new colleague should use this template to define a few key (and reasonable) deliverables/objectives that can be
started within one or two weeks on the job. This helps the colleague get engaged with the work from the start, as long as Early Wins
and expected outcomes are clearly understood, key resources are provided, and the manager checks on progress regularly.

Note: Early Wins do not take the place of performance goals the colleague needs to document in the performance management tool, once they are established
by the colleague and hiring manager, and should be finalized early in the third month on the job.
