Ant and Bee
Annie was a hardworking ant who lived in a
large colony. She spent her days collecting
food and building tunnels for her queen
and her sisters. She was happy and proud
of her work, but she also longed for
something more. She wanted to see the
world beyond her colony, to explore new
places and meet new friends.

Barry was a busy bee who lived in a huge

hive. He flew from flower to flower, gathering
nectar and pollen for his queen and his
brothers. He enjoyed his work, but he also
felt bored and restless. He wanted to do
something different, to have some fun and
adventure.
One day, Annie and Barry met by chance in a
meadow. They were both attracted by the same
flower, a beautiful sunflower that shone
brightly in the sun. They landed on the flower
and saw each other.

“Hello, who are you?” Annie asked.

“I’m Barry, a bee. And you?” Barry replied.
“I’m Annie, an ant. Nice to meet you,” Annie
said.

They smiled at each other and started to chat.

They found out that they had a lot in common.
They both loved their work, but they also
wanted to try new things. They both admired
the sunflower, but they also wondered what
else was out there.

They decided to become friends and explore

the world together. They agreed to meet every
day at the sunflower and go on different
adventures. They visited other flowers, trees,
ponds, and hills. They saw many animals, birds,
insects, and plants. They learned new things
and had fun.
They also helped each other when they faced
difficulties or dangers. Annie helped Barry when
he got stuck in a spider web. Barry helped Annie
when she got lost in a maze of grass. They
supported each other and grew closer.

They realized that they were very different, but

they also complemented each other. Annie was
small and strong, Barry was big and fast. Annie
was careful and practical, Barry was daring and
creative. Annie taught Barry how to work hard
and be organized, Barry taught Annie how to
relax and be spontaneous.

They became the best of friends and enjoyed

their time together.

But their friendship did not last long. One day,

they heard a loud noise from their homes. They
rushed back to see what was happening. They
saw that their colonies were at war with each
other.

The ants and the bees had been enemies for a

long time. They competed for food and space,
they fought over flowers and resources. They
hated each other and wanted to destroy each
other.

Annie and Barry were shocked and saddened by

the sight of their families fighting. They tried to
stop them, but they were ignored or pushed
away. They realized that they had no place in
their colonies anymore. They were seen as
traitors and outcasts.

They decided to run away together, to find a new

home where they could live in peace and
harmony. They packed their bags and flew away
from the meadow.

They never looked back.
