Job Purpose
Educating and training individuals on the art of candle making. This includes teaching them
different techniques and methods for creating different types of candles, as well as providing
guidance on safety precautions and best practices. The candle making trainer must make sure
that the participants have a comprehensive understanding of the candle making process,
support the trainees throughout the learning process, supervise the work, and prepare the work
plan and the required reports.

Key Responsibilities
• Conducting training courses in candle making for individuals or groups.
• Provide demonstrations and practical guidance on the various candle making
techniques and processes.
• Introducing participants to the different types of candles, candles, dyes, perfumes
and tools used in candle making.
• Educating participants about safety precautions and best practices when working
with candles and candle making equipment.
• Helping participants develop their creative and design skills to make unique and
decorative candles.
• Answering questions and providing support and feedback to participants during the
training sessions.
• Monitor and ensure that participants follow instructions and use equipment
properly.
• Stay current with the latest trends, techniques and materials in the candle making
industry to provide the most relevant and comprehensive training experience.
• Evaluate the progress of posts and provide constructive criticism and suggestions
for improvement.
• Maintaining the training area clean and organized and ensuring the availability of all
necessary supplies and equipment.

Qualification (Education/Work Experience)


A. Essential:
 At least a high school diploma.
 Experience in the same field for at least three years.
 Tact and good dealing with others.
 Effective communication skills.
 Familiarity with and commitment to humanitarian standards..
Desirable:

 Intermediate institute or university degree.


 Previous work experience in a civil society organization..
