ACTIVITY ON USELF

BY: BONDOC, GERON PAUL (BSBA: MARKETING 1-E)

Answer:

What perfectly describes me (myself) among all the perspectives that were discussed, was the
philosophical ideas of Plato.

As Plato said, “The Soul is synonymous with the Self”.

According to him, there is a world soul that exists and is divided into three parts;

The first one is the rational soul, which is the part of the soul that gives us the ability to think and make
critical decisions for ourselves.

The second one is the Appetitive soul, which is the part of the soul that gives us the ability to have bodily
desires, such as lust, greed, hunger, and thirst.

And last, but not least the spirited soul, is the part of the soul that gives us the ability to have emotions
such as anger, sadness, and happiness.

For me, all these three are very important to the core of myself, for whatever my soul thinks, desires,
and feels, that’s who am I, that is my real self.

So, it is very important to guard our soul at all times, by choosing the right friends to be with, watching
what we see or hear, and removing all the toxicity in our lives.

Live a life that will benefit and shape your real self as a good individual.

For as the Bible said in Proverbs 23:7 “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he”.
