Material:

Used yarn: Magic Balls from Colorfullmadeshop, color Paris 1500 m, 4-ply. You can
use also similar yarns like Scheepjes Whirl.
Hook 3 mm, dimensions of blanket: 90 x 90 cm

Abbreviations (US terms):

MR – magic ring
Ch – chain
DC – double crochet
HDC – half double crochet
Sk. – skip
Ch space – chain space
BPDC – back post double crochet
FPDC – front post double crochet
YO – yarn over
St – stitch
SS – slip stitch

Popcorn – make 4 DC in the same stitch, remove your hook from the last DC and
insert in the first DC. Insert your hook back the loop from the last DC, pull the loop
through the first DC on your hook. Ch1 for closing popcorn – in charts of this
pattern are always these closing Ch1 shown as Ch1 after every popcorn.

Notes:

I made 4 DC popcorns
Blanket is crocheted in rows, around, DON´T TURN your work after
finishing row, you always work on right side

Beginnings and ends of rows are always the same:

Beginning of row: Start in one of corners: Ch3 (counts as 1 DC), 1 DC, Ch2, 2 DC.

End of row: After finishing all stitches in row, close it with SS in Ch3 in the beginning
of row. Then move with SS again to next DC and then to Ch2 in the corner. Here you
can start a new row.

V stitch – DC+Ch2+DC. when you crochet in these V stitches in this pattern, you
always crochet only in Ch2 space of them... Never in any DC, so you just skip those
DC.
Stitches between ( ) or [ ] repeat as many times as is written after these parenthesis
Stitches between { } crochet in 1 stitch or Ch space

Finishing row:
You can finish your blanket after any row, I recommend finish it after popcorn row or
V stitch row. You can find charts for these 2 alternatives of the last row after main
charts.
You can gently block your blanket after finishing.
