Study summary
The study aimed ti identify the roles that a social worker plays in
the school field of the three basic social work methods (a member ,
group, community organization) the principles of social work and the
extent of the existence of statistically significant difference at the level
(0.05) with regard to practicing roles and principle with regard to
independent vartiables . the researcher put questions representing
these goals represent and rely on the descriptive analytical method and
the three study tools the question, interview, observation the
questionnaire was applied to a sample of (53) social workers in Aden
governorate school for the year (2017-2018) the study included a
theoretical framework the included related concepts the role, social
work, social work in the school field, the school social worker, and the
goals of social work in the school field and its philosophy's and the
researcher use the statistical program (spss) to analyze data. The study
found results the most important of which is the existence of practice
for the role of the social worker in Aden governorate schools in a
large degree and a general arithmetic average (2.35) and that pracice
of principles is better than the roles and the best role for the social
worker was practiced and a large degree in the school of Aden
governorate was to serve the individual with an arithmetic average
(2.41) this follow the groups service an average and average
arithmetic in (2.16) and the least role in organizing a society with an
average arithmetic. The researcher than puts recommendation and
proposal that the wishes to take into account to improve the role of the
social workers performance in Aden governorate.
