Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to make a complaint about the English-language conference’s programme. I

checked the website in the morning and unfortunately I did not find my name on it.
I understand that the platform is overloaded, but I transferred the amount within the deadline
at the same time as 5 of my classmates and I am the only one left out.
I would be grateful if you could check your payment history immediately, because the day is
approaching. Please if you find my name add it to the list and contact me.
Yours faithfully,

Míra Kosztya

The pros and cons of participating in teenage beauty contests

Beauty contests are more and more popular especially among yougsters. But what effect do
these competitions have on children's mental health?

As in everything there are pros. Firstly, it can teach the participants the hard work and
discipline which are really important in our lives. Moreover, if somebody is a participant in a
beauty contest, they will receive unasked comments on their appearance. In these situations
participants can learn how to handle the criticism and stay self-confident even after negative
opininions. And finally, these girls can find new friends in these communities and make new
memories together.

Beside the adventages there are some cons. For instance not everybody strong enogh to
tolarate extra pressure that comes with modelling . Another important factor is the school.
These types of competitions take attention away from learning, which is harmful because in
these ages we base our knowledge. Lastly, if someone is recognized at a young age
because they are beautiful, it can have bad effects on their personality. In our teens we have
to understand how important our abilities and skills, and how can we work on them.

All in all, every girl can make her own choices with her parents. We don’t have the right to
make somebody’s day worse with a negative comment about their hobby.

Hi Hannu,

I’m so excited you’re going to travel to my country. No doubt you’ll spend here an amazing
time.

First of all that’s great how popular these courses in the foreign people circles. Guess what?
This course is also avaible in Budapest but when will be yours exactly? Another thing is the
weather. If I were you I would bring summer clothes. Some short, tops, sandals but despite
the heat, I would also bring some sweaters and long pants for safety reasons.

One more thing , I know your calendar will be full, but an airship recently opened in
Budapest, which I would be happy to show you.

Love,
Míra

Mobile phones are here to stay- why not use them responsibly?
Nowadays, people have very different opinions about using phone at school. Teachers want
children to spend their childhood as freely as they did. Are phones a blessing or a curse?

The main advantage, children can use their phones not only for fun, but also for important
things. Since phones are so easily accessible, notes and appointments can also be found on a
phone. Also children keep in touch with their parents and friends here. Beside the useful
things, I don't think it's a crime to check social media or listen some music during breaks.

However, teachers should also respect students and lead by example. As I see it the most
important thing is equality, despite this I have many memories of my teachers using their
phones during classes. Last but not least, it would also help a lot if the teachers accepted the
fact that world is moving forward, and phones are part of our lives, not like in their youth.
Overall the world has developed a lot and in my opinion this is just the beginning. Hopefully,
youngsters will be able to show how useful the Internet can be, and the older generation will
realize that the Internet is not a curse. Finally, if you like to read about divisive topics, come
back to my blog next time or even create your own.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I’m writing to let you know that I want to change my booking what includes two double rooms,
from June 10 to June 18. I want to modify the date to July 17- July 25 if its possible.

Our airline cancelled our flight so we had to choose another date for the family holiday. Is
there a room available at the appointed time?
Speaking of changes, we have a friend who wants to join us. If she can get time off, can we
put an extra bed in the accomodation?

Finally, sorry for the inconvenience. These modicications will affect extra cost?

Best regards,

Míra Kosztya

Is school the best place to learn?

Most of the cases pupils think it is unnecessary to spend so much time at school and there are
subjects that they can learn at home. But if they get the chance, they would be happier?

First and foremost, if we talking about age groups, there are more kids who can’t be expected
to take responsibility for their own actions than responsible adolescents. In addition there are
few subjects that children can study at home without explanation, maybe the art, media, but
the other subjects require phisical prescence, they are too complex. And the most important
reason why online education is terrible is that children need socialization on a daily basis.
This is necessary for their development, and if they are alone a lot, they can easily become
depressed.

The less the children go to school, the more unlearned curriculum would be. When my
classmates and I studied online we rarely learned as much as in school. Another significant
problem is the extra costs. For example in my class there were families who had very little
internet access, because they cant affort to have a lot. Should these families have paid more?

To sum up, I have hard opinion on this topic. In my opinion there are more disadvantages than
adventages, but I’m curious what do you think. Online learning would be better?
Dear Sir or Madam,
I found the other countries content’s interesting, they were the most reliable sources that
excist, but on the other hand, I was dissapointed when I saw there isn’t any information about
Hungary.

I would like to suggest that I also write one about Hungary because I am not too biased, but
my family and I strictly follow traditions, so I could show a realistic picture of the country.

Obviously, I would do it all for free, the greatest gift for me would be if as many people as
possible could get to know how interesting Hungary is.

In case you liked my idea, please contact me and send me guidelines.

*Dear Sir or Madam,

In recent years we have seen a lot of campaigns against abuse. Despite this, children still
report too much abuse caused by their teachers.

I find it hair-raising that someone still thinks that violence is a good method of education. In
my opinion one of the most important tasks of parents is to stand up for their children because
physical abuse is very tricky thing. It leaves wounds on our body and soul. Mental wounds
will have an impact on the victim's life and it can damage self-confidence.

There were many examples of abuse in the past that we should learn from. Are children's
rights almost non-existent in such a modern world? Teachers are role models for many
children. If the teachers use violence, after a while the children would also think that this is
the solution. Who would want to live in a world where phisical abuse is accepted?
Overall, I can not find the compromise on this topic. I hope the situation will be much better
in 10 years but until then, I would be interested to know would you let your child be regularly
abused at school?

Nowadays, more and more students want to do their degree abroad. Some consider this a huge
adventure, but there are those who don’t support it. Let's see the pros and cons from my point
of view.
The main adventage, if you choose abroad you will have inimitable experiences that will last
a lifetime. Moreover you will meet new cultures, habits, lifestyle, even your view of life can
change. Last but not least, if you have two homes you have twice as much opportunities than
those who had lived in only one country in their entire life.
However there are disadvantages too. Firstly, it is an expensive option. Not just the fee of
university, but the rent, food, programmes can way more expensive than your hometown.
Furthermore, missing your friends and family can make your days harder, loneliness can have
a bad effect on your achievement.
In conclusion, I believe it is a wonderful idea to do your degree abroad, if its possible.
Altough it may be expensive, but qualification like this allows you to choose from more
options and make more money.
