4.4.1 - 4.4.2 (Material) The Great Fire
Here, we present to you the full report of the great fire that is happening in
London right now. After assessing the situation, we found out that the houses
and buildings are mostly made of wood and straw. This makes it easy for the
buildings to catch fire. To make things worse, most houses are connected in a
row causing the fire to spread easily.
Additionally, summer was hot and dry causing the wooden houses to become dry
and easy to catch fire. Strong wind made the fire spread faster.
Access to water is very limited since the city only relies on basic water pumps.
The only other access to water is the River Thames but it is hard to transport the
water with only buckets and water guns.
