conclusion:
The french revolution changed France in many aspects. Politically, there was no longer a
monarchy since the masses had executed former King Louis XVI and Queen Marie-
Antoinette, presenting the democratic government model even though it wasn't followed.
Additionally, the privileged estates were challenged by the inclusive concept of citizenship
and equality, meaning higher positions of authority were open to men based on individual
merit and not by birth or social class.

Religiously, Catholic Church lost political and economical power and was no longer
participant on public matters. A new religion called The Cult of the Supreme Being, which
was based on enlightenment ideas, attempted on gaining power even though it didn't lasted
for long.

Socially, the poor people were now equal than rich people, everyone had the same rights
and obligations as citizens. Due to the Reign of Terror, many nobles died, ended on jail,
escaped to other countries, or lived for the rest of their lives as peasants, France had no
more nobility titles.

Also the French Revolution had consequences in America, inspiring these colonies to rebel
and independence from Spain (South and Central America) and England (North America) in
order to have a fairer and better life and government, the republic.
