Dance Judging Criteria

1. Technical Skill and Execution: Technical proficiency, including their mastery of dance

techniques, precision in movements, control, and synchronization with music.

2. Artistic Interpretation and Expression: Convey emotions, and connect with the

audience through their performance.

3. Stage Presence and Showmanship: The dancers' ability to command the stage and

engage the audience. It includes factors such as coordination, charisma, energy, and

confidence. Dancers should be able to perform with stage etiquette and have spatial

awareness.

4. Adherence to Performance Time Limit: A maximum of four minutes. Going

significantly over or under the allotted time can result in point deductions.

3. Artistic Expression and Interpretation: Evaluate the ability of the contestants to convey

emotion and connect with the audience. Assess the depth of feeling expressed through their

performance. Consider how well the contestants interpret the music and convey its intended

message or mood. Look for nuanced dynamics and phrasing.
