1. Câu điều kiện loại 0

If + S + V (present simple), S + V (present simple)

2. Câu điều kiện loại 1

If + S + V (present simple), S + will + V

→ Should + S + V-inf, S + will + V

Ví dụ: If my brother has free time, he will read comic books.

3. Câu điều kiện loại 2

Case 1: If + S + were + …, S + would/ could + V-inf

→ Were + S + …, S + would/ could + V-inf

Case 2: If + S + V (past simple), S + would/ could + V-inf

→ Were + S + to V, S + would/ could + V-inf

Ví dụ: If I were you, I wouldn’t drink that smoothie.

→ Were I you, I wouldn’t drink that smoothie.

If this purse weren’t so expensive, I would buy it.

→ Weren’t this purse so expensive, I would buy it.

If you took that music class, you could play the piano.
 → Were you to take that music class, you could play the piano.

4. Câu điều kiện loại 3

If + S + had + PII, S + would/ could + have + PII

→ Had + S + PII, S + would/could + have + PII

Ví dụ: If Julie had run faster, she might have won.

→ Had Julie run faster, she might have won.
