Course Name: Introduction to Management

Book Report Project

Students are expected to conduct a contemporary management book review. This is
designed to get each student au fait with current issues and thoughts in management
towards decision-making, as well as improve personal awareness.
Students are required to read “Who Moved My Cheese”, a book that covers
management issue(s), and prepare a written book review for submission.
The book review should not be a typical review of what happens in the book but should
be a fusion between the main management functions and how the book has taught you to
think differently.
A PDF version of the book will be distributed to students electronically.
The report should be original work of between 1800 and 2000 words (approximately 10
typewritten - 8.5 x 11 sheets), 1.5” spacing, 12pt font, Times New Roman submitted
both hard copy and electronically.
This book review will count for 25% of the student’s final grade.
Information required for the book report:

b. State the problem

2. Discussion 1
