Hi!
I’m so proud of you for being chosen to give a speech at your
school. It’svry normal to face anxiety when you give a speech
so yes, of course I”d be delighted to give you some tips.
To organize your speech well, focus on key points. For each
main idea, use clear cohesive devices like ‘First and
foremost’, ‘Next’ and ‘ Last but not least’ to mark the

to follow your train of thought this way.

It will also sustain their interest to listen to your whole speech
insteadof losing focus midway.

practice calming breathing techniques. Additionally, there’s a
Japanese technique where you put pressure on each of your
fingers and your palm. Another way is to count backwards
from 10 to 1 slowly. Ultimately, practice makes perfect so if
you’re well prepared, you will surely ace it!
Let me know how it went! Bye for now!
