Applying the Scientific Method

I. Making Observations and stating the Problem

Getting sunbathe every morning is essential to us as humans since the sun has Vitamin
D. We need this in our bodies. But now, the weather is getting hotter due to climate
change. How can we prevent this kind of climate change?

II. Formulating Hypothesis

1. It provides natural light inside the house that minimizes the amount of artificial light
and reduces electricity costs. It also conserves energy and has fewer expenses. Too
little contrast makes it hard to distinguish an object from the background. Sunlight
provides natural light that will help your day and makes your background brighter.
2. The use of lighting can add to or subtract from the overall colors of a room or from
only those surfaces the light is meant to enhance. Darker colors make a room feel
smaller and cramped, while light-colored walls do the opposite. The illusion of space is
defined by light reflected off of
3. A naturally light space will help you be more productive than an artificially light work
environment. Increased natural light during the day helps you sleep better so that you're
well-rested.

III. Testing the Hypothesis with an experiment

1. Started to close all the windows, curtains, and doors to block the sunlight from
coming inside the house.
2. Leave it all day to see the changes in lighting inside the house and compare it with
the windows open.
3. Until the next day, wake up not bothering to open the windows and curtains, and see
how it affects the mood inside the house and the mood of other people.
4. Also check if there are hindrances outside the house that block the sunlight from
coming such as trees, houses, and other structures
IV. Stating the Conclusion

By following these ways we can gradually prevent this climate change and our
environment will be clean and healthy and people will be healthy too because of the
fresh air.

Guide Questions:

1. What do you think will happen if the steps in scientific method are in different order?

If the scientific steps are in a different order, we cannot develop the best solutions to the
problems. Your experiments will be a failure if the steps of the scientific method are
conducted in a different order. The scientific method must follow the correct steps in
order for your experiment to yield the results you expect.

2. If you would be adding more steps to the scientific method, what would be these
steps? Discuss the additional steps you are proposing.

Disarranging scientific methods wouldn't work in different ways, because the experts in
a specific field would question the very legitimacy of your inquiry. You couldn't just make
a conclusion at the start of the inquiry without having to research it at its initial stage.
