ASBG Introduction

Alliance Star Business Group (ASBG), established under the name Alliance Star PLC
prior to its current name, is a company involved in the mechanized farming, import
and export businesses. It was established in September 2015 GC and is registered in
Gonder city, with its head office located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It is engaged in
import, export, agriculture, manufacturing, and other related businesses. It is
reputed for its diligent, dependable, and disciplined qualities, and it continues to
serve its customers with the utmost integrity and devotion, thus becoming one of the
most favored in the industry. The company is comprised of experts who function with
a deep-rooted understanding of the sector, providing tailor-based services to

Alliance Star is well known for its export of pulses, oilseeds and livestock and imports,
but mainly known for its export of sesame. It owns three farm sites at Gonder; the
largest one accounts for 1034 hectares of land found at Koredem. The remaining two
are small in size and found in Meirab Armachiho and Abdiraf. In the import wing,
ASBG mainly imports industrial goods, consumer goods and intermediate goods.
