Overview
Africorp International (ACI) is an innovative African
agri-business company, dedicated to making both positive
financial and social returns within the agri-business sector in
Sudan.
Founded in 2002 and based in Khartoum, the social enterprise
is a leading Sudanese exporter of key cash crops grown by
smallholder farmers throughout the country.
Currently, ACI’s operations avail over 10,000 farmers’ access to
world market through improved market conditions. The
company has 26 permanent staff and around 800 casual labor
including over 90% women.
ACI is a market leader in Hibiscus, Senna Pods, Beeswax,
Watermelon Seeds, Gum Arabic, Gum Olibanum, Oilseeds
(Groundnut & Sesame, and Watermelon Seeds), Pulses, and
