WRITING ASSIGNMENT

SEPTEMBER 11, 2023

Introduction

Organizational behavior is the study of human behavior in an organizational

setting, by understanding how individuals interact with each other as well as how

individuals interact with the organization itself. Organizational behavior is of great

importance in the human resources department and has a major role in achieving

corporate success because it is an integral part of it. The study of organizational behavior

includes areas such as improving job performance, increasing job satisfaction, increasing

customer satisfaction, promoting innovation, promoting productivity and performance,

increasing trust between employees and the company/management, create good

relationships and good environment to communicate in, encouraging leadership, bringing

ethics, and reduction in worker attrition and turnover (Crail, 2023).

Organizational behavior is the company’s ability to build an effective and diverse

environment and healthy relationships between everyone. This means that using

organizational work methods will promote good communication, good results, achieving

common long and short goals, and ensuring that everyone is able to provide feedback,

along with sharing experiences and ideas. All of these points will improve job

performance for the company. Indeed, good and healthy relationships inside the work

place means increasing trust between employees and the company/management, and of

course, it will encouraging leadership and bringing ethics.

As for increasing job satisfaction, through organizational behavior, the company

will be able to motivate its employees and make them more productive and more satisfied

by applying several systems such as systems of rewards, points, increases, setting goals,

and others. All of these methods will increase employee efficiency and satisfaction,
which means the company's success in healthy management of the work environment

(Kopp, 2023). We have to point out that increasing job satisfaction means increasing

customer satisfaction. And increasing job satisfaction will increase and promote

innovation inside the company.

We cannot deny that globalization has made it easier for companies to be

professional in applying organizational behavior, and to be an ethnically diverse

company. Diversity in the workplace means the extent of the diversity of the company's

culture, and the extent of the diversity of the company's employees, whether their

diversity in age, gender, language, skills and abilities, professional backgrounds, and so

on (Kopp, 2023).

As diversity in the work environment increases, conflicts and barriers between

employees will increase. Therefore, the company's ability to manage its employees well,

such as holding negotiation meetings, increasing morale, and accepting everyone's

opinions, will ensure its internal and external success. Good management of conflicts and

problems will result in increased job satisfaction, increased production, cooperation, and

effective communication (Crail, 2032).

In conclusion, organizational work methods can be applied in several forms, as I

mentioned above, which include building an effective and diverse environment and

healthy relationships between everyone, increasing job satisfaction, increasing job

diversity, conflict management, and others. Certainly, good application of organizational

work methods has countless benefits for the company, and vice versa. Neglecting to use

organizational work methods has dire consequences that will threaten the company’s

future and its ability to achieve its integrity and goals.
