Tony decided two make a Valentine’s PICTURE FOR his mother. He got
out a clean, white PIECE of paper. THEN he got out his crayons and
started to color. He drew his WHOLE family. Then he MADE a yellow SUN
in the BLUE sky. When he was done, Tony WROTE, “I love YOU!” on the
back and signed his name.

Tony was on his WAY to give his PICTURE to his mother when he saw a
tIny FAIRY sitting on the window sill. The FAIRY was crying. “Why are
YOU crying?” Tony asked.

“I am crying because it is Winter and THERE are NO FLOWERS for me to

sleep in. YOU SEE, I am a FLOWER FAIRY.”

“I DO NOT have any FLOWERS.” Tony replied. “But I could draw YOU a
FLOWER. WOULD that help?”

The FAIRY stopped crying. “I think it MIGHT.” she said.

Tony took the tiny FAIRY gently in his hand and carried her TO his room.
Then he drew a PICTURE of EIGHT FLOWERS IN a vase. When he was
done, the FAIRY magically turned the PICTURE into REAL FLOWERS! Tony
could NOT believe his eyes!

Tony put the vase of FLOWERS on his NIGHT stand. The FAIRY MADE
herself a home in the biggest FLOWER. Tony went TO give his PICTURE to
his mother. She said it was a GREAT PICTURE and gave Tony a big hug.
The FAIRY stayed in Tony’s room all winter long and the TWO became
good friends.
