important first step in your quest to conquer Cape Town’s three famous peaks in one day!
This is a real event, not a virtual event!

• Print, complete and sign the entry form at the end of this document.
• Email the entry form and proof of payment, by the latest Wednesday, 30 September 2020.
• Take to the mountains in preparation for a unique Cape Town experience!

Cut-off time: 14 hours – 7.00 pm; specific cut-off times will also apply to the first and second peaks If we need

to start in batches of 50, then the cut off times will be slightly shorter for the later groups

Entry fee: R1030.00 (same as 2019) – read entry and refund policy details

Wine is supplied by the Schneeberger family, descendants of Carl Wilhelm,
the 1897 pioneer of the “Three Peaks in one day” tradition.
Wine must be pre-ordered and collected at Registration. Please indicate on the entry
form how many bottles you require and include payment with your entry payment.

ENTRY DETAILS AND CONDITIONS

To avoid the disappointment of sacrificing your place to somebody on the waiting list, please submit your entry
and full payment by the latest Wednesday 30 September 2020
• The entry fee for 2020 is R1030.00. Please read and familiarise yourself with the “REFUND POLICY”
below.
• You are only considered “entered” once your full payment of R1030.00 has been made and we have
received a completed, personally hand-signed entry form.
• The entry form is only valid for allocated entries. Please do not pass the entry form sent to you on to
anybody else.
• Please ensure that the entry form has been completed accurately and clearly. Forms that are incomplete
or illegible will be returned to you.
• Please mark shirt size selection clearly. There will be a different cut/style for men and women.
Please note: Shirts are ordered well in advance. While we will endeavor to provide everybody with the shirt
size requested on the entry form, the possibility does exist, particularly in the case of late entries or
substitutions, that people may not receive their desired size.
• Three Peaks wine – if you have ordered wine, please include payment.
• PLEASE SIGN YOUR OWN FORM. You may not have your form signed, on your behalf, by somebody
else.
• YOU MAY NOT PASS YOUR ENTRY ON TO ANYBODY ELSE. Should you no longer be able to take
part in the event, you will be substituted by the next available person on the waiting list (see refund
conditions and substitution system).
• NO SUBSTITUTIONS WILL TAKE PLACE AFTER 12:00 NOON ON FRIDAY 30TH OF OCTOBER 2020.
 • Should you enter and then withdraw from the event, before 12:00 noon on Friday the 30th of October 2020,
you will occupy the place on the waiting list vacated by the person who substituted you. You will be
refunded a portion of the entry fee only if a substitution has been found in time.
• Should you enter and then withdraw from the event after 12:00 noon on Friday the 30th of October 2020,
you will not be substituted and will need to request in writing, to the organisers, to rejoin the waiting list at
the bottom of the list. In such a case, no refund of entry fees will be applicable.
• Should you start and then withdraw during the event, you will need to request in writing, to the organisers,
to rejoin the waiting list at the bottom of the list.
• “No shows” on the morning of the event, without a valid reason and without reasonable communication
with the organisers, will not be tolerated. Should you not show up, you will need to justify, in writing to the
organisers, why you believe you should be able to rejoin the waiting list or take part in future events.

REFUND POLICY
1. In the event of cancellation of the Three Peaks Challenge, no refunds will be possible.
2. In the event of withdrawal from the Three Peaks Challenge, the following refunds will apply:
Should you advise the organisers of your withdrawal before 12:00 noon on Friday the 30th of October 2020, an
amount of R630.00 of your entry fee will effectively be refunded to you.
Refunds will be effected by the 7th of November 2020.
Refunds for withdrawal from the event are subject to the following conditions:
a) That notice of your withdrawal is received by the organisers, in writing, by email, before 12:00 noon on Friday
the 30th of October 2020. There will be no substitutions after that date.
b) That a substitute is found to replace you by 12:00 noon on Friday the 30th of October 2020. Substitutes are
drawn from the waiting list. There will be no substitutions after that date.

Challenge 2020", liable for any injury or illness which I may suffer directly or indirectly as a result of my participation in “The Three Peaks
Challenge 2020”, or for any damage to my property or loss of my property which I may suffer directly or indirectly as a result of my
participation in “The Three Peaks Challenge 2020”. I assume all risks of such participation and specifically direct that should evacuation from
the route be required, such rescue costs incurred, if any, will be for the account of the undersigned. I understand that “The Three Peaks
