The control panel includes three front doors

1) Door 1
2) Door 2
3) Door 3
All doors are divided by functionality of panel with different component
behind each door.

Door number 02 and 03 have active functions

EMERGENCY SHUT DOWN (ESD)

An emergency shutdown system or ESD is a system that is used in

hazardous areas to prevent situations that could have catastrophic
effects economically, environmentally, or operationally.
They are designed to minimize the consequences of emergency
situations, such as injury to personnel or damage to equipment

How to use ernergency shut down (ESD)

Pushing the mushroom head of emergency stop button will break the
circuit of machine equipment and remove power supply to the system.

Rotating the mushroom head of emergency stop button will reconnect

the circuit of machine equipment and power supply. A key is needed
for that action.
ACKNOlffLEDGEMENT

Acknowledge an alarm to inform other users that the alarm has been
seen and, if necessary the condition that set off the alarm is being
investigated and worked on

How to use Acknowledgement button

By pressing Acknowledgement button

When the acknowledgement button is pressed, the system releases an

electrical contactor to allow the starter to be ready to start the pumps
(to remove fault from stater).

NB: Please make sure before pressing Acknowledgement button that all
issues are solved.
SELECTOR SWITCH

A selector switch is a mechanical switch that can be turned right, center

or left to open or to close the electrical contacts.
It is mostly used to switch between twolthree electric circuits.

It is a link between man and machine

We have two functions (types) in our panel for the selector switchs.

1) Perrnissive for pump

2l Operation mode of pump

PERM ISSIVE SE LECTOR SWITCH

It is used to give internal authorization in automation side to allow user

or operator who will operate the pumps in Scada by using gantry sensor
(Deadman sensor).

The operator can use scada to switch pumps oN and oFF, or using
loading arms. NB: you can see in door number 1.
OPERATION MODE

Selector switch on operation mode is used to select which type of mode

you plan to use.

They Three only mode we have in our panel

1) Auto mode

2) Manual mode

3) Off mode

AUTO MODE

The auto mode (automation mode) allows to connect pump with Scada.

This mode allows to use pumps in automation system by using Scada of

gantry sensors.

MANUAL MODE

The manual mode means we connect the system with operator by using
buttons to switch the pumps ON and OFF.

On the control panel we have green buttons and red buttons to switch
on and off the pumps.

The green button is used to switch on pumps.

The red button is used to switch off pumps,

OFF MODE

The off mode is used to disconnect circuits in order to disable all

functionality. They can be done by selecting the middle of the selector
switch
LIGHT PANET INDICATOR

Light panel indicators are used to indicate the status of a circuit in panel

We have two function of light panel indicator in our panel.

1) Main power light indicator
2) Pump light indicator

MAIN POWER LIGHT INDICATOR

It is used to show status of main power in control panel.

Asthe control panel uses three phase power, we can see status of each
phase by the lieht color.

Each color shows one phase

Red - phase one

- phase two
Blue - phase three
PUMP LIGHT INDICATOR

It is used to show the status of the pumps. The pumps have two status:
running or not running.

There are yellow color and green color.

F&
Green - pump is running
- pump is tripped by incomplete circuit

To get out of yellow you need to press the acknowledge button.

DIGITAT PANEL MULTIFUNCTION METER

Multifunction Energy Meters are used for monitoring electrical

installations. A Multifunction energy meter monitors and measures all
the electrical parameters such as voltage, active power, apparent power,
current, power factor, reactive power, Active energy, phase angle,...
MAINTENANCE OF OFFLOADING CONTROL PANEL

keep it in temperature min -10c max 40c

keep in dry and cooling place

Removal all dust periodical in single cornponent

monitoring control panel readings for any error
