CONTROLLER OF EXAMINATIONS
Eligibility Rules
1. A Candidate is declared as passed in the 1st/2nd Year examination if he/she gets a minimum of 30% marks in each paper and 35%
aggregate in one attempt.
2. Minimum pass mark for individual papers of 1st/2nd or both under compartmental appearence is 35%.
3. Blind, Deaf, Deaf & Dumb candidates are declared as passed 1st/2nd Year,if the candidate gets a minimum of 25% marks in each
paper.The award of Grade will be as per usual procedure.
4. The Deaf, Deaf & Dumb, Dyslexia and Mentally handicapped candidates are exempted from one language under Part I or Part II.The
Grade will be awarded as usual in consideration of papers appeared.
5. The "Environmental Education" examination is compulsory from the academic year 2006-07 and the "Ethics and Human Values"
examination is compulsory from the academic year 2014-15.The Candidates will be issued pass certificates only after qualifying the
said two subjects.The Blind Candidates are exempted from appearing the Environmental Education Examination only.

Courses, 2023-24 in Telangana. DOST (https://dost.cgg.gov.in) is the only Gateway to Degree Courses (B.A./B.Com./B.Sc. etc.) in the State of
Telangana. Instructions for UG Online Admission (DOST - 2023):
1. Link the mobile number with your Aadhaar number (Linking parents' mobile number or student's mobile number with student's
Aadhaar Card).
2. Update your name, gender and date of birth in Aadhaar Card, as per SSC/Intermediate Certificate (well in advance, before DOST
registrations begin).
3. Use Student's Aadhaar Number for DOST Registrations. Don't use Aadhaar of Parents/Siblings/ Others for DOST Registration.
4. Visit https://dost.cgg.gov.in .
6. One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your Aadhaar linked mobile number. Once you receive OTP, login for further registration
process.
7. DOST ID will be generated based on your hall ticket and this will be valid and referred to till the process of admission is completed.
8. If applicable, keep ready the following Certificates: Caste Certificate (with CND number and sub-caste), Income Certificate (on or
after 01.04.2022), Games and Sports Certificate, N.C.C. Certificate, Extra Curricular Activities Certificate, Physically Challenged
Certificate, Ex- service Men Certificate.
9. Approach any nearest Help Line Centre to resolve your problem, if any.
10. Be careful while exercising web options of your choice of college and course.
